The serious sex of vampires is the ultimate in fun sex—not dull, boring, and sober. The way vampires consider the serious side of sex is an attitude, which means the sex is only with someone you both trust sexually and love. They do not use the techniques outside of the dedicated bond and cheapen the act. This is strictly special sex shared with the most intimate of lovers.

It is a human fallacy to reckon the sex gets better and more special if it’s daring, or on display, or hanging or swinging from the ceiling, or involves tying the lovers in a knot—and anything else the imagination can possibly conceive to break away from the “usual sex.” Vampires don’t see the big deal out of sex so they don’t feel the need to impress with more elaborate sex to make them better than someone else. Serious vampire sex doesn’t require elaborate techniques in its physical aspect but by the rules of fun sex there are no restrictions governing the couple. In their manuals of love, vampires exult the seeking and attaining of serious sex. Only as trusting lovers can the full potential of the mind and body be explored.
