Lust conjures the worst of every emotion—lust for power, money and sex—makes for the downfall of the greedy. Vampires see lust in two different ways with the focus of this powerful force being in the level of pleasure and how it is obtained.

The first kind of lust suffered by vampires is associated with blood. Feeding rituals depend on the source of blood and human blood is hot and most sought after. I have already discussed the lust for blood and blood lust, two conditions of the lust connected with blood, in a previous series on the bite. In both cases, the lust is a consequence of the way drinking blood affects vampires and drives them to acquire more.

The lust of sex is quiet different and not seen in a negative light like lust arising from blood. Vampires don’t see sex as bad so having pure physical sex go beyond the personal restrictions normally expected is not necessarily wrong. Sex conduct has rules to protect, not to restrict or deny, so breaking these barriers with a sexual experience to unleash the pleasure is celebrated by vampires. Attraction can be electric and spontaneous. If two vampires find the sex they share works for them in ways they didn’t anticipate, so they explore all the sensations available to them, then this is a praiseworthy event.

Love and Lust

The rules governing sex, just like the rules of love, make distinctions concerning the tolerance of lust in a love situation. For single vampires the lust is not prohibitive with love but this is not the case for dedicated vampires. The reasons are simple. Vampires believe love is focused to the intimacy of a couple, not to someone else in a casual affair. Love mixed with lust, indulged by two vampires who are not lovers, makes the act the worst kind of infidelity. Not because of the sex by itself, since the vampires  know lust is a persuasive force driving the mind beyond reason, but in the context of love it means the attraction between the two vampires was not initially sexual. The other factor encouraging the affair challenges everything when it has all the potential of developing fully into love.

Lust the One You’re With

For vampires, the only safe context of lusting with love is between lovers. Whether the couples are married or dedicated in a bond of love, lust is the spice of love in the relationship. A sexual game vampires play is to lust the special one they love. This is not enacting a sexual fantasy like we do, but an agreement to have as much sex, just for the sake of having sex, as is physically possible in a given time.

How to Lust Vampire Style

  • Make time. Time spent with your lover is time best spent.
  • Create privacy. Take the phone off the hook and close up the house so no one will disturb you. It doesn’t matter who calls by to visit, they can come back anytime. Pack the kids off to relatives. Don’t put the world in front of the one you love and cherish—not this time at least.
  • Use any part of the house. Remember you’re indulging in lust so don’t feel it’s proper to stay in bed if you always wanted to know what you can use the stairs for—or the sofa—or the kitchen table…
  • Use any style. There are no rules here just what works. Each time you find a place and a posture to match, pleasure in the sex. If the position is difficult then quickly find something easier and not so demanding.
  • Divide and conquer. The limit to lust in humans is the man. To make the lust last, break the sex up into parts. In a given style continue for as long as possible without concluding before you divert your attention to another place.
  • Reciprocate. This is lust vampire style. Both lovers must be equally participating in the lust. Unlike human lust, vampire lust doesn’t have any subjugation, dominance or “master/slave” scenarios.
  • Let the lust run its course. Vampire lust usually ends by exhaustion. The act is self-limiting in that the energy required means it will not continue for very long.
  • Acknowledge the lust had ended. When either one says enough is enough, then the lust is over. Don’t pressure your partner.
  • Relax together. Take time to regain your breath and enjoy the moment when you recognize you have conquered your sexual appetite—even if for a fleeting moment.
  • Thank your partner. You can’t lust yourself. Sex by yourself is liberating, but only with your lover do you truly gain satisfaction. Thank them for sharing some great lust.
  • The wow factor. If you are drained of energy by the end, then you worked very well together, so the lust wasn’t just good—it was fantastic. Make time to do that again.

Lusting vampire style can be fun and satisfying so explore the possibilities to enhance your loving relationship. Lust is the pinnacle of all fun sex for vampires.
